My client, an established yet rapidly growing Danish Energy Trading firm, is looking for an experienced Power Trader with expertise in Capacities / Financial transmission rights (FTRs) and Options.
They excel in maximizing transport capacities in both short-term and long-term markets through competitive trading strategies. As a Senior Power Trader, you'll engage in complex trading structures that demand sharp analysis and strategic execution.
This role is ideal for someone who thrives on working with complex trading instruments and has a keen eye for strategic opportunities. It's all about staying ahead of the curve.
Key Responsibilities:
* Formulate and implement trading strategies to optimise the value of transport capacities.
* Evaluate market trends and data to enhance trading strategies.
* Manage risks associated with fast-paced trading activities.
* Foster relationships with key market participants and stakeholders.
* Collaborate with software developers and quantitative researchers on analyses, tools, and models.
Job Requirements:
* Master's degree in finance, economics, engineering, or a related field.
* Several years of experience as an energy trader with expertise in short term or curve trading
* Strong analytical and quantitative skills for data-driven decision-making.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for relationship management.
* Ability to perform well under pressure and meet tight deadlines in a high-stakes environment.
