I'm currently working with an upper middle market bank that is looking to aggressively grow their TMT M&A profile out New York City. This firm is known for having a strong culture of success as well as often competing with elite boutiques and bulge bracket investment banks on M&A transactions. They are currently looking to bring on a M&A Associate to cover TMT.
The M&A Associate will be responsible for working closing with senior bankers and supporting the deal team on primarily sell-side M&A transactions. Day-to-day, you'll lead projects, provide leadership to analyst, conduct client due diligence, research M&A business opportunities, and other tasks. This is an all-encompassing role where you'll touch all aspects of the M&A transaction process.
Responsibilities
- Play a major role in origination and execution of sell-side M&A transactions.
- Lead M&A transaction projects.
- Lead and work with analyst on various projects.
- Prepare and track financial models, documents, and due diligence efforts.
- Be a resource to clients regarding recommendations and support.
Requirements:
- 3+ years of investment banking analyst or 1+ year(s) of investment banking associate experience.
- Strong curiosity for the TMT industry (TMT experience preferred but not required).
- Excellent technical ability (I.E financial modeling and valuations).
- Strong communication skills to be able to interact with team members and external stakeholders.
