Company Summary: A global electronic trading firm that facilitates hundreds of billions of dollars in trading volume per day through trading and data services offered to institutional and retail markets. Are looking for an experienced C++ developer to join a core development team tasked with reworking major trading systems.
The C++ Developer will be responsible for:
- Redeveloping and enhancing existing trading systems
- Assess issues in real-time and provide quick solutions
- Create, test, and debug programs supporting system architecture
- Enhance scalability and speed of existing systems
- Design programs that minimize risk and increase efficiencies
The C++ Developer should have the following qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or engineering (In a relevant field)
- 10+ years of C++ experience
- 5+ years of database experience in Oracle or PL/SQL
- Experience building low-latency, event driven multithreaded applications
- Understanding of architecture and implementation of large-scale real-time systems
- Preferably has experience in fixed-income trading platform development
- Experience with server-side development and Windows, Unix, or Linux
- Strong communication and writing skills
