**Credit Financing Associate**

**Company Overview:**
Our client, a prominent finance and investment organization, is seeking an associate to join its Treasury team. This position focuses on managing credit investment financing for various investment strategies. The role involves working with investment teams to align financing with investment goals and provides exposure to diverse credit products and leverage structures within a collaborative and engaging environment.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Structure, execute, and manage risks associated with financing transactions backed by credit assets, such as corporate bonds, leveraged loans, asset-backed securities, and private credit.
- Oversee and optimize the financing book, including margin management and leverage facility oversight.
- Build and maintain relationships with funding sources, including investment banks and non-bank lenders.
- Analyze market trends and identify opportunities for leveraging capacity both within and outside traditional banking channels.
- Develop and implement effective financing processes in both public and private credit markets.
- Collaborate with various internal teams, including Technology, Legal, Compliance, and Tax, throughout the financing product development process.
**Qualifications:**
- Bachelor's degree and at least three years of relevant experience in a financial institution or investment firm.
- Experience with financing arrangements and credit underwriting, including repurchase agreements, margin loans, credit lines, total return swaps, and securitizations.
- Skilled in developing and maintaining financial models and forecasts.
- Strong attention to detail, effective communication skills, and a solid interest in financial markets.
- Experience in managing the complete financing product life cycle is valuable.
- Background in credit analysis or quantitative investment analysis is a plus, though not required.
**Compensation:**
- **Base Salary:** $135,000 to $175,000 annually
