Introduction:
My client, a Long Short Equity hedge fund based in Greenwich, CT is looking for a Head of IR/Marketing. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the company's investor relations and marketing efforts. This is an excellent opportunity for a candidate with experience in capital raising, institutional equity sales, or capital introductions to join a dynamic team.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement marketing strategies and relevant materials
- Lead all capital raising initiatives during a fundraising cycle
- Build and maintain relationships with institutional investors, including family offices, endowments, and foundations
- Work closely with the investment team to develop and refine investment messaging and positioning
- Prepare and deliver presentations to prospective and existing investors
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in finance, business, or related field
- Equity hedge fund experience is preferred
- Experience in capital raising, institutional equity sales, or capital introductions
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Ability to build and maintain relationships with institutional investors
- Strong project management skills
- Ability to work collaboratively with the investment team
- Familiarity with marketing regulations and compliance requirements
