A leading distressed debt hedge fund seeks an associate-level investor relations and marketing professional to join a lean client team.
Responsibilities:
- Serve as point of contact for existing institutional investors
- Support marketing and prospecting efforts
- Prepare marketing materials
- Answer client inquiries, such as RFP's, DDQ's
- Contribute to client reporting such as monthly, quarterly, and annual performance updates
Requirements:
- 1-3 years of previous experience in investment banking, accounting, or investor relations at another alternative asset manager
- Strong understanding of the alternative investments industry
- Ability to work independently as well as in a team setting
- Self-starter
