One of the world's largest global professional services firm is looking to hire a healthcare actuarial consultant to serve as the lead actuary on client teams to help them achieve their business objectives. This is a client-facing role and provides excellent opportunities for growth and advancement.
The Healthcare Actuary will be responsible for:
- Setting strategy, project management of financial deliverables, and peer review/certification of results
- Strategic thinking to harmonize financial initiatives with overall client benefits strategy
- Financial modeling for employer group health plans including rate setting, contribution, and plan design modeling, and risk management/stop-loss strategies
- Train/mentor general consultants
The Healthcare Actuary should have the following qualifications:
- Minimum 5 years of actuarial consulting experience
- Bachelor Degree in actuarial sciences, mathematics, or statistics
- ASA or FSA
