LNG Analyst, Singapore, Salary: Market Rate (Negotiable)
Company Profile: Trading house focused in the trading and supply chain of gas products and a subsidiary of a large MNC.
Responsibilities:
- Derive economics and structure multi-year LNG purchase and sale transactions and assessing the impact of potential deals on the global LNG portfolio.
- Assist in the development of the models to value the company's mid-term LNG portfolio based on industry best practices.
- Develop and articulate LNG economics and pricing terms to senior management in support of marketing efforts and direction setting for the global LNG portfolio.
- Assist in improvement of internal benchmarking of gas/LNG/shipping prices and provide risk mitigation advisory using price forecasting techniques.
- To keep abreast with wider Commodity Market environment to be able to identify market trends, opportunities and best practices.
- To keep abreast with dynamics of energy/commodity/derivatives activities in major Gas/LNG hubs around the world limited on the ground access/interaction.
Requirements:
- Minimum Bachelor degree in Mathematics, Actuarial Science, Finance or any related discipline.
- Minimum of 2 years experience in a structuring, trading or risk management function within the energy industry and/or a financial institution.
- Experience in the LNG business is an added advantage.
- Good knowledge in quantitative modelling and/or derivatives trading risk support, deep understanding of options pricing theory.
