One of the largest banks in Germany is looking for a skilled (Senior) Data Engineer for Berlin. They are looking to drive forward their business with new ambitious team members, to implement new BI solutions to optimize the usage of terabytes of data. Could you be the right fit?

Main Responsibilities
*Your task is to correctly integrate data into the systems of the central IT service provider of the banks.
*You code ETL pipelines, mainly in SQL and Python - and new technologies to come.
*You are the interface between banking practice, data science and IT.
*Identify technical/process-related requirements for an integrated data solution and drive forward the design of appropriate solutions for the bank.
*Increase automation, standardization and centralization potentials by optimizing and supporting processes.
Your Profile
*Bachelor degree or Masters in Computer Science or related technical fields involving coding or equivalent experience.
*Minimum of 2 years of work experience in data engineering.
*Fluent in SQL and some experience with Python and/or Java.
*Work experience with RDBMS and data bases, ideally Exasol, PostgreSQL, Oracle.
*Experience with some of the following (not all): Spark, Scala, Airflow, Flink, Maven, Jenkins, Git, XGBoost, Kafka, Hadoop, Tosca, Jira, Kubernetes, Docker, SQL, MongoDB, C++, R.
*Ideally, you have industry knowledge in the field of banks/financial services.
*Fluent English, good German - communication is in German hence the team is international.
