A Fintech company headquartered in Germany is looking for a Senior Finance Manager to work closely with various stakeholders across the group with a focus on our Luxembourg entity.
You will be involved in the latest Fintech projects and pushing the barrier on what is possible in today's payment market while having full accountability for a group's entity P&L and balance sheet. Supported by a deeply skilled finance team (both locally and across the group) you will be able to bring your ideas on business improvements to life.

What your work will look like:

Accounting responsibility and full knowledge for an entity within the group
Cash flow management/payments processing management
Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements according to the commercial code for companies in Germany
Review controls and processes to ensure group and audit compliance
Cooperate with internal stakeholders from IT and business as well as with tax consultants, auditors, banks, and financial authorities

What you need to be successful in this role:

Experience working as a Senior Accountant with a proven track of managing a finance team within Luxemburg
German speaker
Experience with month-end and year-end close activities, as well as conducting year-end audit activities
Practical knowledge of cash flow management/cash processing processes
Experience in regulatory reporting and reporting internally into a group structure
You know how to optimize processes and strive to continuously improve them
You can balance the local and group demands while delivering high-quality outputs
