The Ideal Candidate
- BA/BS in Business, Finance, Economics or Accounting, or equivalent relevant experience
- 6-8+ years' experience in private equity
- Demonstrated track record of academic and professional success
- Sound private equity investment experience covering buyouts and ideally co-investments
- Proven ability to represent firm in written and interpersonal communications
- Developed investment judgement with demonstrable understanding of risk/reward trade-offs
- Flexibility-all professionals are expected to perform multiple functions as the firm continues to grow and develop
- Smart but Humble and be mature, should be willing to go the extra mile
- Must be eligible to work in the UK
The Role
- Source and lead investment opportunities
- Interpret financial analyses, including investment track records/financial statements and prepare valuation analyses on private companies using a variety of metrics
- Perform market research using publicly available information and proprietary databases to identify, quantify and analyse macroeconomic trends across a variety of industry sectors
- Financial modelling, including basic leveraged buyout and cash flow analysis
- Mainly focused on co-investing and minority direct investments
- Use creativity to source and analyse data and to test hypotheses regarding attractiveness of specific sectors and investment opportunities
- Monitor the performance of the Firm's existing investment portfolio, fund managers and underlying portfolio companies; prepare for and participate in meetings with assigned managers, and conduct on-going due diligence
