The bank is seeking an Analyst/Associate M&A Generalist to join their team in Leipzig, Germany. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing expert strategic advice to clients on mergers and acquisitions, capital raising, and financial restructuring.
Responsibilities
- Work closely with clients to understand their needs and provide expert advice on mergers and acquisitions, capital raising, and financial restructuring
- Develop detailed financial models to support strategic decision-making
- Conduct due diligence and financial analysis to evaluate potential acquisition targets
- Prepare presentations and pitchbooks for clients
- Collaborate with other members of the M&A team to ensure the successful execution of transactions
- Stay up-to-date with market trends and provide insights to clients
Skills
- 1-4 years of M&A experience in one of the following sectors: Healthcare, Industrials & Robotics, TMT, Business Services, Consumer & Internet, Sustainability Tech.
- Strong financial modelling and analytical skills
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Strong attention to detail
- Bachelor's and Master's degree in finance, accounting, economics, or related field
