Responsibilities:
- Fulfill the role of Tableau Cloud site administrator, establishing and managing the infrastructure for Tableau Desktop users to publish, share, and access data sources and workbooks within the organization.
- Serve as the Tableau data manager, responsible for creating and publishing data sources to Tableau Cloud, monitoring usage metrics, extract refresh tasks, and user activities.
- Administer Alteryx Server, including installation, configuration, and maintenance to ensure reliability and performance.
- Manage SAP Business Object Server, handling installation, configuration, and maintenance for optimal reliability and performance.
- Oversee user management across all BI systems and servers, including access, permissions, and role assignments to ensure proper authentication and authorization.
- Provide technical support for various Tableau products (Desktop, Server, Cloud, Mobile, Reader, Prep), Alteryx Designer, Alteryx Intelligence Suite, and SAP BO Server/Webi Rich Client.
- Configure BI Server to utilize external identity providers (IDPs) for authentication through SAML 2.0.
- Design customized security architectures, including access levels and user group configurations for application, folder, and user-level security.
- Implement efficient load balancing strategies to manage server loads during concurrent user logins.
- Responsible for the ongoing maintenance and monitoring of BI systems using maintenance and monitoring tools, as well as managing service statuses.
