Job Responsibilities:
- Administer Tableau Cloud by establishing and maintaining the infrastructure to facilitate publishing, sharing, managing, and connecting to data sources and workbooks for Tableau Desktop users within the organization.
- Manage Tableau data by creating and publishing data sources to Tableau Cloud, monitoring usage, extract refresh tasks, and user activity.
- Administer Alteryx Server and SAP Business Object Server by installing, configuring, and maintaining them to ensure reliability and performance.
- Manage user access, permissions, and roles across all BI systems and servers, ensuring proper authentication and authorization.
- Develop complex SQL code for reporting purposes.
- Proactively monitor and manage data quality.
- Strengthen security and audit practices.
- Provide support for various Tableau products, Alteryx Designer, Alteryx Intelligence suite, and SAP BO Server.
- Perform data visualization, reporting, and analysis using Tableau Desktop.
- Configure BI Server for authentication using an external identity provider (IDP) with SAML 2.0.
- Design security architecture by customizing access levels and creating user groups with row and column level security.
- Setup Distributed Server environments for optimal load balancing.
- Create automated scripts for tableau workbook refreshes.
- Perform maintenance and monitoring of BI systems using maintenance and monitoring tools.
- Setup LDAPS for authentication on Linux tableau server.
- Develop key metrics, uncover insights, and deliver critical analysis to guide business strategy.
- Collaborate with senior leadership and department heads to utilize data for decision making.
- Influence company decisions using descriptive, diagnostic, and predictive analytics and reporting.
- Work as a member of a dynamic team across various projects to provide insights for company growth.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or engineering.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in Tableau administration and data management.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in Alteryx administration and SAP Business Object administration.
- Experience with AWS technologies.
- Knowledge of advanced Business Intelligence, data science, statistical analysis, enterprise reporting, and ETL.
- Familiarity with best practices for administration, security, and clustering in Tableau, Alteryx, and SAP BO.
- Proficient in Agile software development using JIRA.
- Experience in multiple OS platforms, particularly Linux and Windows systems.
- Advanced SQL knowledge and experience in relational databases and query performance tuning.
- Understanding of Incident Response and Change Management life-cycles.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
