One of our leading Health Plan's is seeking a Contracting Analytics Consultant with 4-6 years of experience in the healthcare industry, specifically including medical cost management, to join our dynamic team. Responsibilities:
- Analyze and evaluate provider contracts to ensure alignment with strategic initiatives and financial goals
- Develop and maintain complex analytical models to assess provider performance and identify opportunities for improvement
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including contracting, finance, and clinical teams, to drive data-informed contracting decisions
- Present findings and recommendations to senior leadership to support contract negotiations and business strategies
- Monitor and track contract performance metrics to ensure compliance and identify areas for optimization
- Provide expertise and guidance on healthcare economics, reimbursement methodologies, and medical cost management
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in healthcare management, economics, statistics, or a related field required; Master's degree preferred
- 4-6 years of experience in healthcare analytics, with a focus on provider contracting, medical economics, and medical cost management
- Proficiency in data analysis tools and languages (e.g., SQL, Excel, Tableau)
- Strong understanding of healthcare reimbursement methodologies and contract language
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
