I am currently working with an international bank looking for a Director-level candidate with experience in credit and quantitative analysis to evaluate the credit risk associated with corporate finance transactions, predominantly within North America. The Director will primarily focus on assessing asset-backed lending transactions and securitization, among other financial structures. Responsibilities include reviewing credit applications from front office teams, preparing comprehensive credit analysis reports, and presenting recommendations to senior management within the Credit Department. Candidates should have 10+ years of experience in corporate finance and/or structured products and knowledge of securitization and asset-backed lending.
Role Objectives:
- Analyze credit risk factors in proposed transactions and assets, providing recommendations to senior management.
- Facilitate credit approval processes between front office and Credit Department.
- Ensure compliance with internal standards and US regulatory requirements.
- Undertake additional credit-related tasks as assigned.
Qualifications and Skills:
- 10+ years of corporate finance or structured products experience.
- Able to handle high deal volumes and adapt to company's credit philosophy.
- Knowledge of securitization and asset-backed lending is preferred, though not mandatory.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, or related field; MBA/CFA preferred.
