Selby Jennings is working with one of the largest financial consulting firms on a Full Stack Software Engineering position. In this role, you will sit within their Strategy and Analytics Group, and more specifically within their AI and Data Engineering group which manages AI, Artificial Automation, and Data DevOps services.
Responsibilities:
- Utilize your Full Stack Engineering expertise, working alongside Backend Engineers, Data Engineers, and Software Engineers.
- Maintain regular communication with Engagement Managers (Directors), project team members, and representatives from various functional or technical teams, addressing any issues that require additional attention.
- Lead client engagement workstreams independently or collaboratively, focusing on process improvement, optimization, and transformation.
- Contribute to the overall success of projects by implementing leading practice workflows, addressing quality deficiencies, and driving operational outcomes.
Required Qualifications:
- A Bachelor's degree, preferably in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, or a related IT discipline; or equivalent experience.
- 7+ years of experience as a Full Stack Engineer.
- Expertise in React, including design principles, anti-patterns, and the technical landscape.
- 5+ years of experience with Typescript and JavaScript (Node).
- Experience with relational database systems such as PostgreSQL or MySQL.
- 7+ years of experience in designing, building, delivering, and maintaining critical web-based software.
- Deep knowledge in querying and optimizing large data sets.
- Familiarity with DevOps and infrastructure, including memory and CPU consumption.
- Experience with agile development and work management methodologies.
- Ability to collaborate with multi-time zone development teams and self-manage workload
