Our client is a global speciality chemical MNC with a strong global presence that has evolved significantly over the years. Their presence spans across multiple regions and it's products and applications cuts across a variety of industries. They are looking for a Head of Commercial to manage sales, marketing, supply chain, portfolio management and build strong relationships with clients and key accounts.
Responsibilities:
Reporting to the Country Manager of the commercial team, this role is an imperative function who holds influence and weightage on the commercial objectives set by the Sales teams for various regions globally.
- Deep understanding of the chemicals that goes into a myriad of applications by the company (coatings, paints, inks, construction, food & nutrition, personal care, home care etc.)
- Drive sales and marketing strategies to grow the business
- Collaborate with commercial staff to drive distribution and direct business
- Understand trends and keep abreast of developments in the market
Requirements:
- More than 10 years of experience in a commercial and strategy position
- Proven experience in enabling profitable growth in mature business segments
- Analytical thinking with the ability to decipher and interpret data to draw insights and applying them to the business
- Ability to manage internal stakeholders around customer experience, commercial excellence and pricing
- Strong business acumen, communication and presentation skills
