We are actively looking for a Managing Director/Director to join our Fundraising team covering the European market. Must have demonstrated track record of raising UCITS funds covering long only strategies and infrastructure. No Candidates will be considered without demonstrated track record.
Responsibilities
- Prospect and develop new client relationships in the European market
- Create a structured sales plan to target new clients while allocating the firms resources in the most efficient and effective way
- Maintain a deep understanding of investment strategy, fund structure, and which types of investors we resonate best with
- Develop an understanding of the competitor landscape
- Proactively monitor and analyze trends within the industry and the firm's investor base and make recommendations accordingly
- Maintain your leads, opportunities, current book of business in the firm's CRM
- Work cross functionally with Investment, Investor Relations, Compliance, and Operations teams to meet the needs of prospective investors
Position Requirements
- Minimum 10 years experience in the European market with a proven track record raising capital from institutional and family offices for infrastructure strategies
- Existing industry relationships that can help accelerate success of sales initiatives
- Strong investment acumen and knowledge of private equity funds
- Excellent presentation skills in verbal and written communications
- Ability to work well cross functionally
- A positive attitude that motivates others
- You possess an insatiable desire to win
