As an Investment Director, you will play a vital role in the Investment Team, taking on these responsibilities:
- Spearhead the proactive identification of investment opportunities from your personal network, as well as leveraging our client's extensive network.
- Lead, structure, and negotiate new investment opportunities.
- Guide investor companies, both existing and new, from inception to exit.
- Excel as a natural networker, adept at fostering relationships with management teams.
- Possess a profound understanding of the UK SME landscape.
To excel in this role, you should meet the following criteria:
- A minimum of c.5 years (or relevant) of pertinent equity investment experience.
- A verifiable track record of successfully leading and managing equity deals.
- Prior experience working with and supporting the growth of SMEs.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong analytical, financial, and commercial acumen.
- Aspire to build and oversee a portfolio of investments.
The successful candidate should have experience within a lower mid-market firm, with a background in equity investments in growth-oriented businesses and experience working at the board level of SMEs.
