One of Boston's Top Asset Managers is seeking a Lead Software Developer to create, optimize, and provide assistance for strategic proprietary applications and tools for the Trading and Compliance teams.
Qualifications:
- Strong background in SQL, C#, and WPF is essential.
- A minimum of 7 years of Application Development experience is highly desired
- Familiarity with Git or alternative source code control systems is necessary.
- A solid understanding and previous involvement in the development of Investment Management systems is advantageous.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Primarily responsible for developing, improving, and maintaining strategic proprietary tools.
- Conduct integration testing for third-party tools and data as needed.
- Offer secondary support for business-oriented services on an ad hoc basis.
- Oversee the morning production process to ensure the commencement of trade-ready operations.
- Implement a formal development approach in this vital production environment as a fundamental principle.
