My client is seeking a skilled and experienced Managing Life Actuary to join our team. In this role, you will lead a team of actuaries and actuarial analysts, overseeing the development and implementation of life insurance products and ensuring their compliance with regulatory requirements. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in life insurance and annuities, with a proven track record of leadership and innovation in the field.
Responsibilities:
- Lead a team of actuaries and actuarial analysts in the development and implementation of life insurance products.
- Ensure the accuracy and integrity of actuarial models and calculations.
- Collaborate with other departments, such as product development and marketing, to drive product innovation and growth.
- Monitor industry trends and regulatory changes to ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
- Provide technical guidance and support to other team members.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Actuarial Science, Mathematics, or a related field.
- Fellow of the Society of Actuaries (FSA) or equivalent designation.
- 10+ years of experience in the life insurance industry.
