I am working with an international bank looking for a Senior Credit Officer to lead the Energy, Utilities, and Infrastructure team. In this role, you will manage and oversee the team's day-to-day operations, ensure proper risk assessment practices, contribute to credit policies guidelines, identify emerging risks, review loan requests, and participate in governance projects. The ideal candidate has 15+ years of relevant experience within in the energy and infrastructure sectors, managerial experience, and strong analytical skills and regulatory knowledge.
Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage a team responsible for assessing credit risks in the Energy, Utilities, and Infrastructure sector.
- Ensure thorough risk assessment and management throughout project lifecycles.
- Contribute to developing credit policies and mitigating emerging risks.
- Review and approve credit requests, staying updated on regulatory requirements.
- Participate in projects to enhance governance and compliance.
- Foster strong partnerships with business stakeholders.
Profile Required:
- 15+ years of experience in Energy and infrastructure sectors, with expertise in renewables and Project Finance.
- 8+ years of managerial experience.
- Deep understanding of credit risk management, particularly in renewable energy, oil, gas, electricity, and LNG
- Knowledge of relevant market and regulatory practices
