We are seeking a Medical Economics Analyst to collaborate with the Supervisor of Medical Economics to analyze medical costs and revenue through reporting packages, metrics, and dashboards. Serve as a key team member for financial and operational analytics.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Develop methodologies, design report formats, and write SQL queries for data extraction.
- Maintain information systems for executive presentations.
- Enhance and develop processes to improve reporting capabilities.
- Analyze Medicare Advantage medical claims data.
- Collaborate to assess information needs and finalize reports.
- Ensure proper payments from health plans for Medicare Advantage risk populations.
- Provide analytics on Medicare Advantage population cost trends.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Educational/Experience Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in a related field preferred.
- Experience with SQL and Microsoft Office (Word & Excel) required.
- Experience with Power BI preferred.
- Strong organizational skills and flexibility for multiple tasks.
