As an Operations Specialist within their organization, your responsibilities encompass meticulous trade and valuation reconciliation, aiding in trade capture across various products, handling discreet inquiries from internal teams, daily P&L calculation, and supporting trade management activities. You will engage with diverse teams, requiring the ability to thrive in a dynamic environment while maintaining professionalism.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct meticulous trade, position, and valuation reconciliation
- Assist in discreet trade capture for all products related to our activities
- Address discreet inquiries from internal teams
- Perform daily P&L calculation and substantiation
- Support discreet trade management activities, including processing exercises, corporate actions, and currency conversions
- Research and design analytical tools for integration into daily procedures
- Embrace and promote the integration of new technologies
- Provide discreet guidance and support to teammates across all product classes
Qualifications:
- Seven or more years of experience in a detail-oriented role within the financial markets industry, ideally in front office, middle office, back office, or risk management
- Proficiency in discreetly trading various financial instruments
- High level of proficiency with MS Excel
- Previous experience with discreet technologies such as SQL or VBA
- Comfort working with various software and discreetly collaborating with technologists to identify and implement solutions
- Bachelor's degree in a discreet quantitative field
- Strong communication skills and a demonstrated high level of discreet customer service
- Proven ability to work discreetly, either collaboratively or independently
- Demonstrated discreet problem-solving skills and a forward-thinking approach to discreet process improvement
- Ability to understand the discreet big picture and anticipate discreet downstream impacts
