Title: Experienced Portfolio Manager within a Deep-Tech VC Firm
Are you an experienced portfolio manager with a passion for all things Tech within the Venture Capital space? This client is seeking to hire a talented individual who has experience with managing large portfolio consisting of 50-100 companies. The client is seeking a portfolio Manager that is able to leverage on the Network Effects of the current portfolio and be a value add to the various companies. It would be ideal if candidate has experience with portfolio management within a VC or even an Accelerator programme and wanting to stay within the operations side of things.
Responsibilities:
* Manage and oversee all aspects related to assigned portfolios.
* Develop strategies aimed at maximizing returns on investments while minimizing risk.
* Conduct thorough market research before making investment decisions
* Use innovative methods such as data analysis or other quantitative techniques when evaluating potential investments
* Being able to put on events and link up with investors having experience heading up accelerator programmes
Qualifications:
We are looking for candidates with experience managing the portfolio of venture capital/private equity firms. The following qualifications would be preferred:
* Bachelor's degree (MBA highly desirable)
* Between 2-5 year's experience as a Portfolio Manager; with at least 2 years on VC & early stage investments.
* Preferable to have experience within Tech however not compulsory
* Excellent communication skills both verbal and written
* Scalable Thinking
