Job Title: Industrials Associate
Company Overview: I'm working with a $13B AUM private equity firm looking to add to their investment team. This firm operates with a focus on navigating intricate investment scenarios, particularly within distressed private equity and special situations.
Responsibilities:
- Analyze financial statements, models, and projections to assess investment viability and potential returns
- Conduct thorough research and due diligence on potential investment opportunities within the special situations, distressed private equity, and industrials sectors
- Play a key role in the execution of transactions, collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure successful completion
- Stay on top of industry trends, market conditions, and regulatory developments to inform investment strategies
- Work closely with senior management and other team members to contribute to overall strategy and decision-making
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in finance, economics, or a related field
- Possess 1-3 years of investment banking, consulting, private equity, or related fields.
- Industrials focused experience is a plus
- Strong financial modeling and writing skills
- Strong work ethic and eagerness to learn
- Exhibit a strong attention to detail and effective verbal communication skill
