We are excited to be partnering with our client, a leading financial services company based in Berlin. They're looking for an experienced and talented Risk Manager (m/w/d) ESG to join their team on a permanent basis. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who wants to work at the forefront of risk management.
Main responsibilities:
Manage all aspects relating to the bank's credit portfolio throughout its life cycle including origination approval, monitoring, restructuring and repayment phases.
Conduct robust stress testing exercises that evaluate how different scenarios can impact both individual credits but also broader portfolios from Credit quality perspectives.
Develop effective mitigations strategies which address key vulnerabilities highlighted by scenario results.
Your profile:
- Bachelor's degree in Economics, Econometrics, Finance, Sustainability or equally related fields.
Demonstrable knowledge and understanding around managing risks associated with ESG issues.
Excellent analytical skills; ability to effectively analyse data sets related to finance/banking/risk analysis.
- Proficient in Python, Power BI, SQL, SAS or similar.
- Fluency in English, any other languages, especially German a huge plus.
