Job Title: Senior Underwriter, Allied Medical, Social Services, SMML
Location: Remote
Summary: This position is with a highly regarded P&C insurance firm that is looking to rapidly expand out their Allied Medical and Social Services Underwriting Department. My client is looking to bring on a motivated individual who possess a proactive attitude and demonstrates an entrepreneurial mindset.
Responsibilities:
- Managing and underwriting a new business book of business by hitting premium goals, quote, and work flow management targets
- Drive product marketing initiatives to enhance visibility and demand for their offerings.
- Proactively cultivate and nurture positive relationships with key customers.
- Working collaboratively with team members and counterparts across various business units, such as claims, product development, accounting, and operations.
Qualifications:
- 3+ years of underwriter background with the ability to generate/write good new business.
- Experience in Allied Medical or Social Services products
- Bachelors Degree
- Knowledge of Microsoft Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
