Job Description:
The Senior Director of Risk Adjustment will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the risk adjustment program. This includes developing and implementing strategies to ensure accurate and timely documentation and coding of member diagnoses, as well as ensuring compliance with all regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement strategies to improve the accuracy and completeness of diagnosis coding
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure alignment of risk adjustment efforts with organizational goals
- Monitor and analyze trends in coding and documentation to identify areas for improvement
- Provide leadership and guidance to the risk adjustment team, including coaching and mentoring staff
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements related to risk adjustment
- Develop and maintain relationships with external partners, including vendors and regulatory agencies
- Prepare and present reports to senior leadership on the performance of the risk adjustment program
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in healthcare administration, business, or related field; Master's degree preferred
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in risk adjustment, healthcare analytics, or a related field
