Position Overview: We are seeking an experienced Underwriter/Broker to join their high-performing and rapidly growing team. With consistent year-over-year growth of 20-30%, this team handles approximately 150-200 submissions per month. As an Underwriter/Broker, you will play a crucial role in managing your book of business, ensuring exceptional service to their clients, and driving revenue growth.
Responsibilities:
- Evaluate and underwrite insurance submissions, assessing risk and determining appropriate coverage.
- Collaborate with retail brokerage firms to provide creative solutions for their clients.
- Maintain and strengthen existing client relationships while actively seeking new business opportunities.
- Monitor market trends, pricing, and industry developments to make informed decisions.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless order processing and timely delivery.
- Contribute to achieving revenue targets and business growth goals.
- Provide exceptional customer service, addressing inquiries and resolving issues promptly.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, or a related field.
- 3-5 years of experience in wholesale underwriting or brokerage.
- Strong understanding of Excess and Surplus (E&S) lines.
- Proven track record of success in managing accounts and driving growth.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
- Proficiency in industry-specific software and tools.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a remote setting.
