Responsibilities:
- Handle transactions: This involves managing various transactions related to insurance policies, such as processing payments, changes to policies, and claims.
- Examine and process applications, renewals, endorsements, and cancellations: Reviewing applications for insurance coverage, processing renewals for existing policies, making changes (endorsements) to policies as requested, and processing cancellations when necessary.
- Interpret Plan Rules and manuals: Understanding and applying the rules and guidelines of the insurance plans being administered.
- Perform all Certification and Complaint activities: Handling certification processes for policies and addressing complaints from customers or agents.
- Search for and investigate information contained in files: Conducting research within files to gather information needed for various purposes, such as resolving inquiries or complaints.
- Process outgoing automobile insurance assignments: Managing the assignment of automobile insurance policies, including updating records and notifying relevant parties.
- Contact producers regarding incomplete applications or other inquiries: Communicating with insurance agents or brokers to resolve issues related to incomplete applications or other queries.
- Respond to telephone inquiries, correspondence, and complaints: Providing assistance and information to customers and stakeholders via phone calls, emails, or letters.
- Read incoming material and sort according to file system: Organizing and categorizing
Experience:
- Proficient in Microsoft Office productivity tools like Outlook, Word, and Excel; advanced Excel skills.
- Effective problem-solving, analyzing issues, identifying root causes, and considering diverse solutions.
- Strong verbal and written communication; adept at presenting information and responding to inquiries.
