Job Description:
Broker fixed income securities interbank on a matched principal basis.
Manage existing client relationships and develop new client relationships.
Conduct thorough analysis of financial statements and assessment of credit requests, including new requests, changed requests, refinancing and annual due diligence.
Provide recommendations tied to analysis and assessment of credit risk.
Keep up to date with the company's lending protocols.
Reconcile credit files and identify discrepancies and variances.
Develop and prepare spreadsheets and models to support analysis of new and existing credit applications.
Qualifications:
Diploma, Bachelor's degree or higher in Finance, Economics, or related field.
Extensive experience of Credit sales or as a Fixed Income Broker with a focus on Asian Credit.
Solid understanding of financial markets, bonds, credit spreads, interest rates, and FX.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
Must have the required SFC Type 1 license or be willing to take requisite exam.
Fluency in English. Additional Hindi, Mandarin, Cantonese or other Asian languages a plus.
Ability to work well in a team and under pressure.
Ability to quickly adapt and respond to changing market conditions.
