Position Overview: We are looking for a results-driven and detail-oriented Trade Compliance Manager to lead and manage our trade compliance program. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring that our international trade activities comply with all applicable laws, regulations, and company policies. As a Trade Compliance Manager, you will be responsible for developing, implementing, and overseeing trade compliance policies and procedures to support our global operations.
- Develop and implement trade compliance policies and procedures in accordance with local and international laws and regulations.
- Monitor and assess changes in trade laws and regulations to ensure ongoing compliance.
- Conduct regular audits and assessments of import/export processes to identify and address potential compliance issues.
- Provide guidance and training to internal stakeholders on trade compliance matters.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including legal, logistics, and finance, to ensure alignment on compliance strategies.
- Manage relationships with customs authorities and other relevant government agencies.
- Handle import and export documentation, including classification, valuation, and duty drawback programs.
- Investigate and address any instances of non-compliance and implement corrective actions.
- Bachelor's degree in business, international trade, or a related field. Advanced degree or professional certification (e.g., Certified Customs Specialist) is a plus.
